Non-Stop Rock Fest, Celebrating a Music Community Coming Together
West Palm Beach -- December 16, 2005 -- The Non-Stop Rock Fest will be an
evening of eclectic live music by some of the most notable artists in
South Florida.
The Freakin' Hott: A rock trio that will seduce your beating heart out of
your chest and make you beg for more. Picture AC/DC with a sexy female
singer and you've got the right idea.
Truckstop Coffee: A unique blend of whiskey-soaked and road-worn
Americana and melodic Roots Rock that will liquor you up and take you home
staggering.
Timb and The Band of Erics: An homage to all things glam, with influences
ranging from David Bowie to death metal to diddies about sponge baths.
One of the more unique and intelligent acts you'll find in South Florida.
Acoustic Acts include: Katie Foley, Jamie Brown, and a special birthday
performance by Brent Indeed himself!
In the last three years there's been a building scene of musicians whom,
not only love the music, but have become a supportive community. Having
found each other at open-mic events and live music venues, and even
despite their different walks of life and opposing genres, a rare bond has
formed and a music community is thriving and growing stronger by the day.
Sitting on the outskirts of the community for a few months in 2003, local
promoter Brent Indeed observed the bands that would become critically-
acclaimed local favorites. With the support of local
venues and promoters, this non-competitive group of musicians have all
found their way into the regular circuit of must-see acts. Brent Indeed
found himself reborn, now a musician, now playing bars and clubs, he has
found a new way to serve the community, with his mind set on spreading the
word about the musicians he is now proud to call his friends.
Now as the culmination of his time in "the scene" and as thank you to his
friends, he has organized The Non-Stop Rock Fest to
share the music and camraderie with the public. Looking ahead, he views
the event as a springboard to creating more events to come, all with the
goal of bringing together good music and good people.
